Invest in Your Child's Future:
Close the Gap
The
Barrack Hebrew Academy Annual Fund was established to help close the
gap between tuition and the actual cost of an Barrack Hebrew Academy
education. This past year, Barrack Hebrew Academy's annual operating
budget was nearly $6 million dollars, but tuition income
provided just 75% of the budget. The actual "gap" between
tuition and the real cost of an Barrack Hebrew Academy education is about
$2,000 for each student. The annual support from alumni,
parents and friends of the school is critical to closing
our gap.
The
Annual Fund supports the school as a whole and benefits
each and every student, helping to meet the immediate
needs for essential areas, such as financial aid, library
books and systems, lab equipment, transportation subsidies,
and support for the recruitment, recognition and retention
of our outstanding faculty.
We
encourage every family to participate in the Barrack Hebrew Academy Annual
Fund each year at whatever level is comfortable. For
some that is $18,000, for some it is $18. At Barrack Hebrew Academy,
we strive for 100% parent participation. We also ask
you to check with the company for whom you work to see
if they will match your gift, increasing its value.
All Annual Fund contributions are tax-deductible to
the full extent of the law.
