Environmental Action Update

         The Environmental Action Club discusses various issues which have arisen recently in relation to our environment. Meeting during F days at lunch, the members debate ways to reduce pollution and increase economically friendly activity. Environmental Action Club was responsible for restarting the paper recycling at Barrack Hebrew Academy, and hopes to add to that by year's end. Intended improvements inlcude bottle recycling, plastic recycling, and more. 95% of today's landfill contents are recyclable. In making these recycling programs available at school, the club hopes to reduce much of the school's waste, and even to convince students to bring reclyclable items from home, should recycling be otherwise inconvenient for them.
